Focused on the Family
Come join us for fun and fellowship at our annual Family Camp. This year it is going to August 23rd-25th at Apserkaha Campground up at Howard Prairie Lake. Check in is Friday at 3:00pm and checkout is Sunday at Noon. There will be a Saturday evening service preceeded by a group Potluck dinner and our Annual Chili Cook Off. The cost is $30 a night or $60 for the 2 nights. There will be Cabins and RV/tent spots available. Please make checks or payment out to the church specifying the accomedation you prefer. Spots will fill up fast!
Friday evening feel free to do dinner as you would like, there is no set agenda pertaining to that evening since people will be arriving and setting up at different times but feel free to mingle and help others if you see a need. The earliest you can Check in is 3pm. Saturday is a relax day so feel free to enjoy what the great outdoors has to offer. I believe there is Horseshoe pits and a few other things available if you're not of the fishing and/or exploring/hiking persuasion. About 4:00 we will be holding the Chili-Cook off taste testing. Please come and sample to your hearts content! We will pick the winner and announce the Champion after the Potluck Dinner, more in likely at the beginning of the Service. I'll have to check with Bob to see if there is a Sunday morning service, I am not certain at this time....But check out is not till Noon.
